Blackbutt Samaritans Christmas Giving Tree 2022

In Health Information, News and events

Every year, Blackbutt Doctors Surgery supports the Samaritans Christmas Giving Tree Project by asking for donations from our local community to give to families less fortunate than us during the festive season.

The 2021 Giving Tree community enabled Samaritans to provide thousands of gifts to local families. This is an extraordinary achievement considering the circumstances across our nation over the last few years. If it weren’t for generous donations from people like you, Samaritans would not have been able to deliver.

As we near the end of 2022 (scary as that may seem) we are once again supporting the Samaritans Giving Tree project and asking for your donations to help those less fortunate this Christmas. As in previous years, toys, food, and gift vouchers are much appreciated and empower our recipients more than you know.

Our aim, as always, is to support people in need in our local community and to bring happiness and joy this Christmas. We will have our Giving Tree setup up in the reception of our surgery from next week (24th October) and encourage anyone who is able to to contribute to this worthy cause.

Thank you for your kind and generous giving this Christmas.
