AI transcription for note-taking during consultations.
Starting Monday, August 5th, our general practice will implement AI transcription for note-taking during consultations.
Your doctor will use a computer microphone to listen to the consultation, and the computer will automatically transcribe the notes. Your doctor will review and edit these notes to ensure accuracy. This process remains confidential, and your medical information will be kept safe.
Before starting the automatic note-taking software, your doctor will ask for your permission. You have the right to refuse, but please note that this may extend the duration of your consultation, as your doctor will need to type the notes manually.
We believe this technology will enhance the accuracy of your notes and allow your doctor to focus more on medical care rather than typing. If you have any questions, please ask our reception staff or your doctor.
