Welcoming Dr Andrew French to Blackbutt Doctors
Blackbutt Doctors is pleased to welcome Dr Andrew French to our growing team of dedicated general practitioners.
Dr French completed his medical degree at the University of Newcastle in 2017 before undertaking his hospital and general practice training in the ACT. He has since completed further training in paediatrics, emergency medicine, and skin cancer surgery, bringing a strong clinical skillset and a well-rounded approach to patient care.
As a former Air Force officer, Dr French also has a particular interest in Veteran’s health, with a deep understanding of the unique healthcare needs faced by current and former serving members.
Dr French will be working an alternate weekly schedule:
- Week 1: Monday, Wednesday and Friday (half day)
- Week 2: Monday and Friday
This structure allows him to provide consistent care to patients while balancing his areas of clinical focus.
We are delighted to welcome Dr French to the practice and look forward to the compassionate, thorough care he will bring to our community.
